• For Students with Final Acceptance (2023 or Earlier Final Grade 12 Exams):
  Registration opens on Tuesday, 21 January 2025, and will remain open until Friday, 7 February 2025.
  These students can register online or off-campus from 21 January 2025.
• For Students Awaiting Final Evaluation (2024 NSC Results):
  Students who sat for their 2024 Grade 12 exams will undergo a final evaluation process from Thursday, 16 January 2025 to Wednesday, 22 January 2025. This will be followed by an SMS notification to confirm acceptance. Once you receive your acceptance notification, it is crucial to complete your registration within 48 hours to secure your place.

Make sure to track your acceptance status regularly via the CPUT application portal and follow the instructions on the automated SMS to register within the given time frame.

Returning Students (Undergraduate and Advanced Diploma Programmes)

For returning undergraduate students, including those enrolled in Advanced Diplomas, the registration period will run from Monday, 13 January 2025 to Friday, 31 January 2025.

Postgraduate Students Registration Dates

• Returning Postgraduate Students (Masters and Doctoral Studies):
  For returning postgraduate students (including Masters and Doctoral studies), registration will be open from Monday, 13 January 2025 to Friday, 28 February 2025. Be sure to check your department’s specific deadlines.
• New Postgraduate Course-Based Students:
  New students applying for Course-Based Master’s qualifications can register between Monday, 13 January 2025 and Friday, 28 February 2025.
• New Postgraduate Full Research Studies (Masters and Doctoral Students):
  The registration period for new students entering Full Research Master’s or Doctoral Studies will begin on Monday, 13 January 2025 and continue until Friday, 30 May 2025.
